These early versions are constructed out of solid teak and have a luxurious orange hue with figures of dark grain throughout.
The sculpted armrests are of special note. Their execution is very reminiscent of those of Finn Juhl's chairs. The joinery is fantastic and is proof of the craftsmanship Wanscher put into all of his work.
The original fabric has a few minor stains. The comfortable seat and back cushions have internal springs. Marked.
We also have another FD 109 easy chair. The other chair is a bit higher and has a different back (two wooden slats more than the others).
